Award winning watercolorist Teresa Ascone has enjoyed a life-long love affair with the Alaskan
landscape. "I remember walking to school and gazing, entranced at the breathtaking beauty of the
snowy mountains. I was fascinated by the virgin woods, the rocks and streams of my childhood".
Teresa's fascination with the landscape eventually led to painting in 1978. "I was nearly obsessed
with the desire to communicate my reverence and love, my excitement for especially beautiful areas.

and Outside. Her work has been featured in numerous solo shows in Alaska and Japan, and has

Wallace and aired on KAKM.
