Susan Sloss

|
Susan Sloss was born and raised in Australia where wearing silk was a way of life. She now
lives in Alaska, her home of 20 years. She enjoys working with natural fibers, especially silks and
finds painting and dyeing fabric an absorbing activity with wonderful and unpredictable results.
Susan finds wearing silk a luxurious counterpoint to all the man-made fabrics we now wear,
especially in Alaska. Her love for nature and the Alaska outdoors merge with her silk painting,
bringing to you, her interpretations of wildflowers, wildlife, and the Aurora Borealis.
Susan's scarves are made in several
different patterns and hand-dyed colors. Prices and swatches are available
on Susan's scarf page.
Sales representatives can show you swatches of her
currently available scarves.
