|
Southeast Alaskan artist, William Stewart's, objective is to accurately
portray Southeastern Alaska and those who call it home.
Lifelong relationships with pioneering Alaskans and a lifestyle reminiscent of
his aged mentors are what generate the passion for this subject matter. Bill
grew up working with boat builders and fishermen. He later entered the logging
industry in Southeast.
Along the way, he earned a degree in art from Seattle Pacific University and
spent three years in Brussels, Belgium where he worked as an illustrator. |
