Late one chilly
November evening a friend beckoned me outside to gaze at the mysterious
and luminescent aurora surging overhead. Gazing in wonderment I imagined
capturing the play of light and color on silk. With her series of
"Northern Lights" scarves Susan brings to you her interpretation of our
mysterious Aurora Borealis. She invites you to wear and enjoy! |

Arctic
Nights is reminiscent of our luminescent Aurora as it blazes across
the Arctic night sky. Reds, greens, and blues blend illusively in a navy
blue sky. A soft yet stunningly distinctive scarf.

Northern
Lights is Susan's most popular scarf. Her original interpretation of
our mysterious Aurora Borealis. Greens, blues, and reds playfully
imitate the veils of Aurora lights as they dance across a deep
blue-violet background.

Midnight
Lights is reminiscent of the Aurora
Borealis on a pitch black wintry night. Susan uses reds, greens, blues,
and a touch of gold to imitate the varying colors of the aurora on a
background of black. A richly colorful and versatile scarf.

Golden
Aurora
The Aurora Borealis is produced by gas particles in the upper atmosphere
being struck by solar electrons trapped in earth's magnetic field. Color
varies depending on how hard the gas particles are struck and range from
simple arcs to drapery like forms. Golden Aurora's colors flow on a
background of blue silk charmeuse
