An avid sailor and former commercial fisherman, Shane Reiswig's fascination with the ocean and all things aquatic is brought to life in his paintings and illustrations. With intense and beautiful color and texture and an atmosphere and richness of feeling, he communicates his passion and emotion for the ocean and the life that it embraces. Shane was raised in Juneau, Alaska and  spends much of the summer there with his son, Eric and their dog, Max. They reside the rest of the year in Seattle, Washington.
